I have a website that sells demographic analysis reports, ideal for those looking to find the best small business locations or for people moving to new neighborhoods. The site is adept at conducting detailed demographic analyses and creating visualizations of census data and competitor data.

To drive more traffic to my site, I've started creating content featuring some of these visualizations and maps that might have value on their on own. The goal is to produce interesting visualizations and analyses that organically attract an audience.
One of my first projects involves showcasing the richest neighborhoods in top U.S. cities. I can generate maps showing the neighborhoods (census block groups in census lingo) with the highest median household incomes in these major cities. I think these will be interesting and useful for my audience. One problem that I have is I need to go into each city and look at the map and do a write up. I will need to answer questions like where the affluent neighborhoods are located and whether there are discernible patterns. Also it would be nice to have some sort of introduction about the city we are looking at. This will take a lot of time and energy.
Then I thought about ChatGPT and came up with the following questions
- Can I use chatGPT to create meaningful and good analysis of the visualizations I have?
- Will Google and other search engines allow this type of content to be indexed?
- What type of prompts and settings do I need to use for best results from ChatGPT?
- How do I automate this process to generate content for 50+ top cities?
I share my research and code and learnings in a 5 part blog series.
